TRIPURA JAL BOARD

The Tripura Jal Board was constituted through Act of Tripura legislative Assembly on 20th October 2020. It has been established with an objective to provide for the establishment of a board to discharge the functions of water supply and sewerage within the Urban Local Body areas and areas prescribed by the Government of Tripura. It shall be meeting the needs of potable water in the State Capital Agartala as well as other Urban Local Body areas. Tripura Jal Board has been able to supply pure and wholesome filtered water to the all Urban Local Bodies(ULBs) of Tripura which has grown phenomenally. Tripura Jal Board is committed for the augmentation of water supply in all ULBs and has taken many steps to improve the water supply system. Tripura Jal Board has ensured average availability of 135 LPCDs of filtered water through efficient network of water treatment plants, booster pumping stations, water mains & distribution system.
